New Units = Now Open
As I sit here writing this from the dining room table in Unit 17, I become awestruck each time I look up from my laptop and see the unbelievable panoramic views from this unit. Unit 17 is situated so close to the water that it feels like I’m on a cruise ship right now…really! I’ve toured many properties along the North Shore, and the views from these Surfside units are among the most spectacular I’ve seen anywhere. Unit 17 is one of three new townhomes that just recently opened. Units 15, 16, and 17 will be available for nightly rentals beginning on February 1st. We’ve already had some owners up to stay in their new vacation homes and the finished products are even better than what they had envisioned!
This week we are closing on our third quarter-share sale this month. Units 8, 9, 10, and 14 are sold out and Units 7 and 12 only have one position remaining. Please check out our Price List for the most current updates on availability.

Winter has Arrived!
I captured the above image this morning of an ore boat passing through the steamy waters in front of Surfside. This image stirs memories of a “Ghost Ship” that, according to legend, sails Lake Superior during the gales months and guides ships and their crews safely across open waters. The steam rising off of the big lake is a sure sign that winter is upon us.
Nearly two feet of snow has fallen in the Lutsen-Tofte area over the past week and winter activities are officially in full-swing! The cross-country ski trails are groomed and almost 100% of Lutsen Mountains’ downhill ski slopes are open. Snowmobile and snowshoe trails are also open and in great shape. The Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts offers its owners and guests complimentary use of recreational equipment, such as cross-country skis, snowshoes, and ice skates. Owners and guests also have complimentary access to shuttle service to and from neighboring Lutsen Mountains ski area and to popular area trail heads. Free daily guided tours are offered as well.
