Nearing Completion

We’re nearing completion of the latest additions to the Surfside community; Units 15, 16, and 17. The new townhomes should be ready for occupancy within three to four weeks. Inside the units, we’re currently attending to the final finishing work, which includes installation of the carpet, lighting fixtures, custom glass railings and custom shower enclosures.

Like all townhomes at Surfside, these units boast impressive views of Lake Superior. The new units also feature in-floor heating systems throughout the lower and main levels. In addition, the bathrooms on all three levels have in-floor heat.

At Surfside, our construction pace is dictated by sales activity. By the end of the year, we should have a total of 10 sales closed for 2009. This exceptional performance has allowed us to continue moving forward with construction at a practical pace. We’re delighted that so many are discovering that ownership at Surfside provides a stable, affordable, and maintenance-free way to own an impressive vacation home on Lake Superior. There is at least one quarter-share already spoken for in each of the three new units, but there’s still time to reserve yours! Please check out our Price List to view current availability and contact me if you would like more information on the North Shore’s latest premium resort community.

Girls Gone North Weekend!

“When the boys are away, the girls will play!” This was the motto for the second annual Girls Gone North Weekend at the Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts, which took place between November 12th and 15th. The weekend included a range of activities for the outdoor adventurers, for those who prefer relaxation and pampering, and for those who wanted the opportunity to network with other fantastic women, and to renew friendships and special bonds.

All Girls Gone North Weekend activities such as guided hikes, yoga, the Women’s Expo, health and wellness seminars, and the wine and cheese reception and keynote were complimentary. We would like to thank all the ladies who made our 2nd annual Girls Gone North Weekend such a huge success and we hope to see you again next November.

Events such as Girls Gone North Weekend and Food and Wine Lover’s Weekends are examples of the creative ways in which we are striving to enhance rental activity during times that are traditionally quieter on the North Shore. Our owners reap the benefits of such activities in the form of higher occupancy levels and enhanced rental performance. We have a very busy Thanksgiving weekend coming up and we’re looking forward to a busy winter season with LOTS of snow!
