Surfside hosts...
Surfside hosted the Woodland Chamber Music Workshop (WCMW) in the Lakeside Ballroom this past weekend. The event featured adult amateur musicians of any instrument and all skill levels who came together for a weekend of small-ensemble playing and coaching, seminars, chamber orchestra, and fun on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior! Concerts were free of charge and open to the public. The event began on Friday evening with an impressive performance by the Gichigami Trio and ended on Sunday with a wonderful performance by the WCMW Chamber Orchestra.
Thanks to the WCMW for filling Surfside with such great music throughout the weekend! I appreciate all those who stopped by the open house to learn more about fractional ownership at Surfside. Regular open houses will be hosted throughout the summer. Best Place to Stay
For those who have already visited Surfside, you already know that it's one of the best places to stay on the North Shore. Now, thanks to a special feature article in the June 2009 issue of Minnesota Monthly Magazine, many more will find this out. The special feature article, entitled "Secrets of Superior," names Surfside along with its sister-resort, Temperance Landing, as the best places to stay in the Lutsen - Tofte area of Lake Superior's North Shore...the most sought-after area of Minnesota's North Shore. This is a tremendous accolade, especially considering that Surfside has only been offering nightly rentals for less than 16 months now!
